Earning money using photo sharing site, Linkinn

A relatively new concept that has really taken off after the YouTube boom are websites that offer users some of the money they earn for sharing videos and images.

I'm just starting to check a few of these out and I will share my experiences with you as we go.

The first site am going to be looking at is called Linkinn. So far it's been more focused on images then on video, but we will see how things progress.

The concept is simple.
  1. Sign up for a Linkinn account.
  2. Browse around and find images, videos, and other content.
  3. Earn points for doing any of the following:
  • Placing comments on any of the posts. (Your comments earn points based on voting by users.)
  • Referring new users. Each user who signs up based on your referral earns points based on the new users earnings.
  • Posting photos and videos. When you post an item your own points based on the popularity of that post.
  • Linking. If you create a link on a website, you get one point for every 20 people that click the link.

Points can be exchanged for cash that is deposited into your PayPal account.

I played around with it for a few minutes and managed to earn 33 points just by posting comments. This is a very many, definitely not worth the time, but points are not hard to get. Even if you don't have a website you could potentially earn revenue with Linkinn.

Each point earns you five cents. I earned a whopping $1.65 simply by posting comments.

My guess is you will earn the most points by doing two things, providing links on hugely popular sites, and encouraging other people to do the same.

Let's try this experiment... please sign up under my username using the links above. Start earning points a few at a time. If you discover a strategy to earns you lots of points, please post comments on this post.

If you're already a member ended like to share your strategies, again, place comments on this post.
