Blog Poll: What would you do with $1 million?

We all fantasize about what we would do with $1 million occasionally. Heck, even millionaires think "What would I do with an extra million?"

The March poll is just for fun. Yes, I've considered doing each of the things listed in the poll. Here are my answers:
  • Donate to Charity
  • Save It for My Kids
  • Get myself a huge freaking TV
Seriously, one of the reasons why I started this little endeavor, besides proving it can be done, is that I will be able to retire with somewhere around $1.5 million in the bank. At that rate it should make enough money and interest and dividends that I will no longer have to work.

I'm physically disabled. I use a wheelchair and have very little mobility or stamina. My computer is run with voice recognition software and a trackball. I don't even use a keyboard anymore. I'd much rather spend my time with my kids than working, even though I love what I do and I'm passionate about the people I help.

If I'm able to accomplish this goal, I'm going to take the PayPal money and donate $100,000 to charity. Then I'm going to go to Circuit City and buy myself the biggest freaking TV I can find, maybe two. Then I'll pay some guy to install it on my wall so that no wires whatsoever are visible. It's going to look sweet!

Beyond that I'll take the cash and put it in a money market fund and try to live off the proceeds for the remainder of my life.

While this poll is fun, there's a certain serious side to it. So give it some thought before you check your choices.

Make sure to come back and see the results before the end of the month!
